This above titled American Thinker article tells us what Christians have known for quite a while now regarding the hatred and persecution of Christianity in America, but the two interesting statements in this article to focus our eyes on are these:"Churches who unabashedly teach the Bible with seriousness, with calls for discipleship and intimacy with God, are growing. Americans are moving away from lukewarm and toward substantive Christianity, and this trend shows no sign of changing."
To this writer, the last two above statements contain encouraging words.
Beloved, if we take away all of the hype, bells, games, and whistles of man-made religious organizations, there are still folks out there who are thirsting for the plain gospel of Christ. I'm surmising this is why this Gospel Snippets blog has grown in volume to over two million plus page views since its inception in February of 2014.
Jeff Lukens, author of the above A/T article, states this fact in his last paragraph:
"The faithful believe that God is in control, and that is a great comfort for them."
Indeed we do, Mr. Lukens, indeed we do! (see here).
Thus let us continue to preach the undiluted Word of God without fear or apology (see here, here, and here).
