For the past eight years, this writer has observed our society sinking further and further down into the quagmire of sin and spiritual depression, with very little hope for a positive future.
However, since the electorate has today chosen Donald Trump as President-elect, my prayer is that Mr. Trump will restore the presence of God in our politically correct, sin-sick society, and put people who have been out of work, back to work (as the authors of these articles here and here imply).
My late grandmother once told me that an idle mind is the devil's workshop (see article), and that is so true. When our mind is occupied with doing God's business (Luke 2:49; 1 Corinthians 15:58) instead of the devil's business (see article), positive results come to pass and God is glorified (Matthew 5:14-16).

What our nation desperately needs is a spiritual cleansing and revival (see article), from the head to the foot (see the contrast of God's view of the societal mindset in Isaiah 1:1-9 versus the one found in Jonah 3).
Beloved, may God hear our prayers and grant spiritual healing for our society and nation (2 Chronicles 7:12-14).
And in leading our nation, may President-elect Trump put his complete trust in the Lord, and may God bless America once again! (Psalm 33:12).
