The Negatives Of "The Pleasure Portal"

In the grand scheme of life designed by God, there are both negatives and positives to everything, including those of what this writer calls "the pleasure portal." The pleasure portal is that external part of a woman's anatomy which allows entryway for a married man and woman to experience sexual pleasure. It is also the part of a woman's anatomy which allows the exit of a baby from a mother's womb after a nine month gestation period.

Since we already know the positives of experiencing that portal (companionship, pleasure, and producing children - see here), the following are two negatives of the pleasure portal:

1) A man cannot lawfully have access to the pleasure portal without a God-approved marriage between a man and a woman (Matthew 19:3-6; Hebrews 13:4 --- see here and here).

2) Without a God-approved marriage, a man and woman cannot lawfully produce children from the pleasure portal that are illegitimate (they would not be considered "holy" 1 Corinthians 7:14 NLT but "unclean" KJV). Illegitimate children become a financial burden in an unauthorized relationship (see article).

Throughout the centuries, ungodly men have literally sold their soul to Satan in order to have unauthorized access to the pleasure portal, the late Hugh Hefner being one of them (see here and here). On the other side of the coin, Both Joseph and David realized that being right with God (cf. Genesis 39:1-12 - specifically noting vs. 9; Psalm 51), was far more important than having unauthorized access to the pleasure portal that is temporary in nature.

What's the bottom line to all of the above thoughts? Any sexual relationship outside of a God-approved marriage relationship, is nothing more than couples commiting fornication with each other --- and as a result, they will get "burned" (Hebrews 13:4) --- their "sin will find them out" (see here - also note Galations 6:7-8). A man in such an ungodly relationship, cannot have authorized access to the pleasure portal (see here). Thus, the only "safe sexual activity" for a man outside of a God-approved marriage, is abstinence (see here and here).
