As we are presently experiencing a financial crisis in the United States due to several factors (the coronavirus being just one of them, this writer is reminded of the above headed idiom "the chickens have come home to roost."
Folks, in Texas English, our government's "spend, spend, spend" philosophy over the past three generations is now coming back to bite us, financially speaking.
Adding two trillion dollars to the national debt via the coronavirus stimulus package of 2.2 trillion is only a short term fix.
What's the long term fix. you ask?
(1) That every family in America stop spending more money than they bring in and (2) that every family in America get back to the Bible (it's spiritual precepts and principles), to God, and to moral and fiscal sanity (see here, here, and here).
Beloved, simple is always better! (see here, here, here, and here) ..... and "Lord, revive us again."
